An Important Update Regarding COVID-19

As you are aware concerns about the corona virus (also known as COVID-19) continues to spread across New York State. We want to remind our clients and staff; that your health, safety, and care remain our number one priority. U.S. Care Systems, Inc. has been and continues to actively prepare for this illness and the continuum of our clients care, with guidance from the New York State Department of Health (DOH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We take your health and safety very seriously and we have taken every possible precaution we can to keep our family safe during this Pandemic.

Clients- What we are doing and what you can expect;

To ensure the safety of our Clients we are completing daily health screenings of all of our Personal Care Aides who provide services. This health screening includes temperature monitoring twice daily as well as screening for any potential symptoms. We are not allowing any staff to work while they are sick and referring them to appropriate care channels for follow-up.

Our clients can expect to be in communication with us daily via phone conversation to ensure their safety and well being. During these conversations we will also ask the client some brief health screening questions. If we have concerns about our clients health we will assist them in following-up with the appropriate care channel.

Staff- What we are doing and what you can expect;

We remain dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of our staff and in efforts to do so we are completing daily health screenings of our clients prior to providing services. This will ensure that our staff have minimal potential of exposure while providing care. We also work tirelessly to ensure that appropriate PPE is available for our staff while providing services to clients who are ill. We are allowing staff to send in paperwork via mail and receive their paycheck via mail. We have implemented office procedures to maintain social distancing practices and reduce possible exposure during necessary visits.

Our staff can expect to be in communication with us daily to monitor and evaluate their health, answer questions, and address possible concerns that should arise. We will continue to educate our staff as information comes out or changes.

Below is some helpful information on what you can do to protect yourself.
